Alfa Romeo Monza

Alfa Romeo Monza. The first Pocher model I’ve built, Alfa Romeo Monza from 1931. Can still be bought online as a building kit. I paid 450 Swedish Kronor for this kit back in 1971. Today, these kits costs several thousands of Kronor and a beautifully constructed model might sell for 10-20.000 Swedish Kronor.

Porsche 911

Porsche 911 was first presented in 1963 and quickly became on of the world’s most appreciated sports cars with over 400 000 cars produced. In connection with the 30 years anniversary, this “993” model was introduced. The model car was the last to be produced in Pocher’s factory in Italy. The factory burned down, but with some luck one can find a building kit online. The car in the picture, which was purchased in Californa, has been customized with leather interior, a remodeled engine, etc. Scale 1:8, weight: approxiamtely 5kg.

Mercedes 500K, AK Cabriolet

Mercedes 500 K, AK Cabriolet. Mercedes cars can still be found on the Internet if luck permitts it. This particular model was bought in Canada 10 years ago. The building kits online are not cheap, due to the old factory no longer existing, but carefully and beautifully built models have a high collectible value.
